Making coffee with this strainer is almost meditative. Add two tablespoons of coarsely ground coffee, place the strainer on a mug, and sloooowly pour hot water over the grounds. There is no lid or machinery to obstruct your view of the grounds as they bloom, or to stop that first puff of aroma from rising out of the brew. The coffee strainer is an easy, elegant way to brew an individual cup.
